Fran and Jake met in the freshman dorms in 2014 at the University of Dayton. Fran was rapping to Mac Miller and playing video games when Jake walked in. To no surprise after hearing Fran's rapping skills Jake said she would be a perfect fit for his roommate. Throughout Freshman year their relationship grew further until they both came to the realization that this was more than a friendship. Although they felt bad that his roommate was going to miss out, they knew that they were meant to be. Fran and Jake continued to grow their relationship throughout college despite all the ups and downs life threw their way. After college they went separate ways with Fran moving back to Louisville and Jake moving home to Ohio. Little did they know that their parents decided to become best friends during this period of time, meeting up at football games, casinos and trips to Florida. In November of 2020 their families both went to Florida for Thanksgiving. Jake and Fran met up at Keewaydin Island and knew from that moment on they had found their person. Shortly after, Jake moved to Louisville and the rest is history.
