It all began in the summer of 2023 when Jacob and Caroline both served at FUGE Camps. a place where God had far more planned than either of them could have imagined. Caroline was the camp emcee, and Jacob served as the sound technician and a Bible study leader. Between sound checks, worship sessions, and countless inside jokes, something special began to grow.

After camp, they both found themselves serving again in Orlando. By that time, it was clear their connection was more than just a “camp friendship.” A few weeks later, they went on their first date which was a night filled with laughter, shared testimonies, and the undeniable sense that God was writing a beautiful story between them.

A few weeks later, Caroline drove to Georgia to hear Jacob sing at church. After lunch with his family, they spent the afternoon at LakePoint Station playing mini golf and arcade games. Between laughter and a little friendly competition, Jacob asked Caroline to be his girlfriend — and she happily said yes.

Jacob and Caroline then spent the next year treating a 2 1/2 hour drive over state lines like it was only 10 minutes down the road. The two spent most of their time at concerts, Atlanta Braves games, or with family.

A year later, after many prayers, adventures, and moments of watching God guide their relationship, Jacob planned what Caroline thought was a fancy dinner with her high school youth pastor, Brian. But when they arrived, Jacob had one more surprise, he got down on one knee and asked Caroline to be his wife.

What began at camp has grown into the sweetest adventure of faith, friendship, and love. Jacob and Caroline are so thankful for the way God brought their paths together and can’t wait to start forever as husband and wife.
