Nate and Caroline grew up together in Fairport, NY, living just 7 houses away from each other for almost the entirety of their childhood. They reconnected over the Summer in 2020 when Caroline was walking her parent's dog past Nate's house. The dog took off running to greet Nate and naturally Caroline followed. They struck up a conversation as the dog incessantly kissed Nate. Nate pretended to enjoy the dog's attention just to keep talking to Caroline. From that point forward, Nate and Caroline have been inseparable. In the Summer of 2022, Nate proposed to Caroline at a winery overlooking Keuka Lake on a day that the two of them will never forget.

Together they enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors, floating on Keuka and Conesus Lake, spending time with their cat, Indy, and going to Morgan Wallen concerts. Nate's hockey career has lead them to live in several states including Arizona, Iowa and Illinois, but New York is home. Caroline is a frequent airline flyer as she splits time between New York and Illinois, watching as many of Nate's games as possible. Over time and despite being many miles away during the hockey season, their love has only grown stronger.

Caroline and Nate are so excited to be getting married in July and cannot wait to celebrate their love surrounded by friends and family!
