Daniel and Caroline went on their first date in downtown Orlando in July of 2014. It was a sunny day as they walked along Lake Eola and spent time getting to know one another. This led to a second date near a gulf coast beach where Daniel went to high school. As they watched the sunset that evening, they didn't know that life had other plans for them. Caroline moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in investment banking, and Daniel, after the passing of his mother, decided to take on more work travel. They never forgot about each other, though, and over the next 5 years, they remained friends... always making sure to keep in touch.
In November of 2019, Caroline moved back to Orlando and around the same time, fate had Daniel move back into his home in St. Augustine Beach. They had not seen each other in 5 years and after catching up over a three-hour brunch, it was as if no time had passed. The only roadblock between them was distance, but a global pandemic soon fixed that. After only a few months of dating again, Caroline moved in with Daniel and for the next 7 months, they quarantined together in St. Augustine Beach. They would take daily walks down the beach while it felt like the world was falling, and as days passed they both had realizations of becoming each other’s forever.
In September 2020, Daniel and Caroline moved into their new house in Orlando and brought home their little bundle of joy, a black lab named Hendricks (aka Boopers).
In July 2021, Daniel took Caroline back to the place of their first date 7 years prior and proposed at Lake Eola.
Life brought us back to each other, and we are never letting go.
