Of course, you can always try the hotels directly, or Airbnb. Telluride is pretty expensive, we know, but this is why we picked a Tuesday in October!
Get with a group and rent a house! Double up in a hotel! Couch surf! You can do it!
Telluride Town Park
Getting to Telluride isn't easy, we know! But we promise you it is rewarding for those who journey up to this high mountain valley!
You can fly into Montrose/Telluride Regional Airport (MTJ) and make your way up to town. Telluride is 1hr15m from the airport, but it's one of America's best drives! You can rent a car, take a shuttle, hitchhike, or teleport, your choice.
GJT is 2hr30m away from Telluride, but usually a slightly cheaper flight from DEN.
Cortez (CTZ) and Durango/La Plata (DRO) are also about 2 hours away and have daily flights from DEN.
Telluride Express (www.tellurideexpress.com) offers shuttles from all of the above airports.
