Didn't y'all already get hitched?

The short answer is, yes. LEGALLY we are already married. The military is a wonderful, beautiful and yet complicated component of our lives. While we are grateful for Kade's commitment to the Marine Corp it does come with some challenges and finding a wedding date and moving across the country with military training dates constantly changing are only a couple of these challenges. As many of you know on March 8, 2023, we had an intimate ceremony and LEGALLY got married. However, Caroline has maintained residency in Texas while Kade has been in training in California and Virginia this past year. We are so excited to exchange our vows and celebrate with all of you in our Celebration of Marriage on March 9, 2024. This will be our opportunity to have a reception with our friends and family to celebrate our marriage and officially begin our lives together as husband and wife.

Where are you registered?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we are registered at Target, and Amazon, and both are linked in the registry tab. Gift cards to Target, Trader Joe's or Amazon are also appreciated as we are moving into a new home in San Diego, California after the wedding.

Where is the Celebration?

The address is as follows! The Reserve- Longview, Texas 7725 US-259 S Longview, TX 75605 United States

What is dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal! Nothing crazy just something nice! There will be a photographer there and since this is a special day for us we want everyone to look and feel their best! We are requesting no white dresses, shorts, flip-flops, ripped jeans, t-shirts, or lounge attire :)

When should I RSVP for the celebration?

Please RSVP by February 15th so we can get the head count of who is coming to our celebration!

Are we allowing plus ones?

With every private event this is a tricky question! We will be allowing plus ones with notice and within reason! If you plan on having a plus one please let Caroline or Kade know as soon as you find out so we can update our guest list! Any plus ones that are added past the RSVP date will need to be brought to our attention as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly!

Are kids allowed?

We are so excited to welcome your kids to our night, BUT we do ask that you be the manager of your children or leave them at home with a sitter. Our venue takes safety and security very seriously as this is their family property. We will be serving some alcohol at the event and we expect children will be well supervised through the entire event.

Where can we stay for the night? Do you have block options?

We thoughtfully scheduled our Celebration of Marriage with our out-of-town guests in mind. Our celebration will begin at 2:00 P.M. and will wrap up no later than 6:00 P.M so that no one feels the burden of added hotel expenses. If you do still need hotel recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out to Caroline.

What time should I arrive?

We are asking that you arrive no later then 1:45pm if you do arrive later there is a great risk that you will miss us exchanging our vows as we will be closing off access to the ceremony space at this time.

Will there be alcohol provided? Am I allowed to bring my own?

We will be serving a limited selection of beer and wine throughout the celebration! Due to the venues policy, there will be no outside alcohol permitted.

When should I RSVP? How can I RSVP?

We will only be excepting online. RSVPs . The deadline for RSVPs is going to be February 15.
