Beyond Hot Springs
We would love for guests stay in and around Hot Springs to enjoy the convenience of being close to the event location and take advantage of what the town has to offer. If you are looking beyond Hot Springs for lodging, there are some vacation rentals around Marshall, NC (20 minutes from Hot Springs). There is also a Comfort Inn in Mars Hill, NC (35 minutes from Hot Springs) and a Fairfield Inn and Suites in Weaverville, NC (35 minutes from Hot Springs). Newport, TN is a 30 minute drive West of Hot Springs and has hotels along I-40. And finally, Asheville, NC is a 45 minute drive SE of Hot Springs and has tons of lodging options.
Parking
Guests who are staying at Magnolia House or have mobility issues can use the parking on-site.
To maintain space on the property, we suggest that other guests park in the town parking lot which is located on North Bridge Street. The best way to find this lot is to put “Big Pillow Brewery” in to your GPS and drive there. The town parking lot is the first left after you pass the brewery. You can park here and then walk to the wedding (less than 3 minutes to the property). Come out of the lot and walk to your left over the Red Bridge and up the driveway. Walk straight towards the gates and through the gates which will be open for arriving guests. Guests will walk up the driveway to the wedding. (Gates will be closed before the ceremony begins).
Alternatively, there will be some street parking close to the property. To access this parking, enter 227 Lawson Street in to your GPS. Once you arrive at this home take a left on Mountain Heights Road and park on the left side of the street flanking the green space at 227 Lawson Street. The Magnolia House team will be around and available to direct you with parking here.
If you are staying in town and can walk, that will be your best option! The majority of accommodations listed in Hot Springs are walkable to the venue.
