Bruno and I had pre-calculus class together our senior year of high school. The class was first period of the day and Bruno sat right behind me. Neither of us thought too much of the other back then, we would share small personal details with each other, but the main event of our "friendship" was Bruno frantically copying down my answers to the homework before the morning bell.

This "friendship" later rekindled and evolved, at a much more prestigious academic setting, Slippery Rock University.

Sometime junior year of college while walking on campus I heard a voice shout out, "Hi Caroline!" To my surprise, it was Bruno. His simple kind hello made me smile (big). I started looking for him on my way to and from class. It didn't take long before these infrequent "hellos" weren't enough for me, so I reached out via the good old Snapchat. It took a bit of convincing from my end before we began talking daily and hanging out as friends (there were just a few unanswered Snaps to Bruno...) Winter break came along, and we continued to see each other until we called ourselves a "couple" on New Year's Day, 2019.
