We have hotel rooms blocked at The Francis Marion Hotel in Downtown Charleston, as well as at the Embassy Suites and the SpringHill Suites. There will be a shuttle bus that will pick-up and drop-off from the Francis Marion to the wedding venue and bring you back to the hotel after the wedding ends. We recommend staying in downtown Charleston and there are plenty of great hotels with various rates. Check the travel page for some of our recommendations.

Please refrain from bringing anyone that was not specified on your invitation. We have personally invited as many people as our wedding venue can accommodate. We appreciate your understanding.

To allow all wedding guests, including parents a night of relaxation and uninterrupted fun we respectfully ask that no children attend our celebrations. This does not apply for any children that are included in our wedding party.

The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. While a tux is not required, we encourage everyone to dress to impress. Midi/long dresses preferred for ladies.

The ceremony and reception will both be taking place outside. We recommend comfortable shoes for a long night of dancing and shoes that are easy to walk in. Please note the ceremony will be taking place on a gravel surface.

While we are providing transportation to and from the wedding venue, in the event that you would like to drive they will have parking. They ask that all cars be removed by the following day at noon.

We kindly ask you to refrain from taking any pictures on your personal phones during our ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture this special moment and would be happy to share any pictures after the event.
