In August of 2019, Caroline set foot on the 40 Acres at the University of Texas for her freshman year of college. After one of the first football games of the season, she returned to her dorm room where there was a group of her new friends and roommates hanging out. In this group was Griffin, and the crazy thing was, he lived in that exact same dorm room (#712) just one year prior!

Caroline and Griffin were in the same friend group and spent lots of time together throughout Caroline's entire freshman year. Once Covid hit, they were forced to leave campus and finish the year at home. During the Covid days, Caroline and Griffin talked and FaceTimed almost every day and became super close! Griffin waited until they came back to UT the following year to ask Caroline on an official date. Let's just say that date went very well, and the rest is history!
