Is there parking available at The Bohlin?
Parking at The Bohlin is very limited and must be arranged in advance. If you have accessibility needs or special circumstances that require on-site parking, please contact Drew and Caroline as soon as possible.
For all other guests, parking is available at the Marriott and Hammett’s Hotel for those staying there. There are also several public parking garages located throughout downtown Newport.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes! We have reserved rooms at Hammets Hotel and The Marriott for our guests. Please visit our 'Accommodations' page for information on booking these hotels.
Is it okay to book accommodations other than the hotels you’ve reserved?
Absolutely! We’ve reserved rooms for our guests at The Marriott and Hammetts Hotel for your convenience, but we want everyone to feel comfortable with the accommodations they choose. Feel free to stay wherever works best for you!
Will there be welcome drinks? How do I get there?
Yes! Please join us for cocktails and light bites to kick off our wedding weekend. This event will be held at Dive Bar, which is located within Surf Club at 337 Thames Street, in Newport. Follow the stairs down to Surf Club and take a sharp left into the hallway, and through the wooden archway.
Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding?
We are providing transportation to and from the Marriott, which is about a 10 minute walk (in heels) to The Bohlin. Hammets Hotel is located at the beginning of Commercial Wharf, just about a 2 minute walk to The Bohlin.
What are the addresses to the wedding ceremony and reception?
Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at The Bohlin, which is located at 20 Commercial Wharf in Newport.
Are the Welcome Drinks and Wedding venue ADA compliant?
Yes! Our Welcome Drinks will be held at Dive Bar, which has both an elevator and stairs to take you down one level. The Bohlin, where our ceremony and reception will take place, is ADA compliant with flat stone grounds and ramps into the bathrooms.
Are plus ones and children allowed?
We’re excited to celebrate with a big group of our favorite people, but we’ve had to be thoughtful with the guest list. If your invitation includes a plus one or your kids, they’re invited! If not, we hope you’ll still join us for a fun night of dinner, dancing, and celebration.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Please plan to arrive starting at 5:00 PM to be seated and settled before the ceremony begins.
