As many military brats do, Caroline and Will both found themselves in Fayetteville. Attending rival high schools, the pair had mutual friends.

Will attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs where Caroline finished her last two years of high school. Still yet to meet, the two kept in touch.


In 2022, Will moved to Columbus, Mississippi for pilot training - only an hour from where Caroline went to college. On his first day of training, he reached out and asked her on a date. They had been in the same place three times so it felt long overdue! Their first date was at Glorybound in Tuscaloosa. 


After graduating from the University of Alabama, Caroline accepted her first teaching job in Nashville. Will took very little convincing to make the four hour trek to Music City frequently. Here, they explored all the city has to offer - and went on some of their most memorable dates. It holds a special places in their hearts and it was an easy choice to tie the knot here.

Thanksgiving has always been Caroline's favorite holiday. Will found the perfect way to make it even more memorable - he surprised Caroline waiting on the steps of the UVA rotunda to ask her to marry him.

Fun fact: Will's parents, Matt and Maureen Stover, also got engaged on Thanksgiving!

Following their honeymoon, the newly weds will be onto their next adventure - Japan. Will is going to be flying the KC-135!
