We met in September 2021, not long after I’d moved to Denton for college. What started as a few online messages quickly turned into something special. Our first date was at a little Japanese restaurant called Mr. Chopsticks, followed by hours of talking and laughing back at my dorm, and just like that, life started to feel warmer, funnier, and more like home.


Nearly four years later, Mason proposed at the base of Stewart Falls on Mt. Timpanogos in Utah.


We’ve grown together through countless game nights, movie marathons, trivia victories (and defeats), and adventures with our Airedale, Merlin. More than anything, we just love being together, laughing, and building a life full of joy, kindness, and the kind of comfort that only comes with your favorite person by your side.

Meeting Caroline was a very unexpected treat, especially during a time in my life where it felt like we were spending every waking hour either working, or doing school work. But we quickly found something special together, after just a few quick dates I couldn't imagine life without her.


I soon graduated and got to watch the most beautiful, smartest, and well deserving person I've ever met do the same. At a moment so filled with joy and pride, is when I decided I was going to marry her, assuming she said yes at least.
(Spoiler alert: She said yes)


Since then, it feels like we've been through it all. The smiles, the laughs, the tears, the anger, and the confusion. But we always did it together and I can't thank her enough for that. I can't wait to make our home and life together and I thank you all for being part of our journey in whatever way that looked like.
