Our Story

On a chilly December night in Lubbock, Texas — December 14th, 2024 — Caroline and Kade met on the back patio of The Blue Light Live. Grady Spencer and The Work were playing inside, the music drifting out under the glow of string lights.

They talked for just five minutes — short, effortless, unforgettable — before Caroline slipped away. Kade was left scanning the patio, wondering, “Where did she go?!” A few days later, through mutual friends, they discovered their worlds had already been quietly connected.

It wasn’t coincidence — it was Jesus’ plan all along. That brief conversation turned into texts, long talks, a first date, and eventually, a love story full of laughter, grace, and adventure.

Now, they’re saying “I do,” thankful for that night on the patio where it all began — and for the way God brought them together, perfectly, in His own time.

Are plus ones and children allowed?

Due to venue capacity we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend.

What is the dress code for the wedding/reception?

Western Formal Men: think nice jeans, sport coat, button up, boots. Ladies: think formal dresses with western flair

What date should I RSVP by?

All guests should RSVP no later than March 30, 2026.

Where can I RSVP?

You will be able to RSVP on our wedding website at theknot.com/crwkh.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be fully outdoors. The reception will have indoor and outdoor accommodations.

What airport should I fly into if I am traveling by plane?

Guests who are traveling by plane should fly into El Paso International Airport. Truth or Consequences, NM is about 2 hours away and Hatch, NM is about 1 hour and 30 minutes away.

Where are you registered for wedding gifts?

We have a registry right here on our wedding website. Items can be ordered straight from the website for convenience.

What is the address of the ceremony/reception?

Please see your invitation. Address will be provided on the invitation.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.

Dress Code

WESTERN SEMI-FORMAL

Think “elevated Western”: semi-formal with a vintage Western twist to suit our desert setting in Truth or Consequences, NM on May 30, 2026.

Men: sport coats, dress shirts, chinos or dress trousers, and leather boots or dress shoes; ties optional.

Women: Long or tea-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or skirt-and-blouse ensembles with low- to mid-heel boots or sandals.

Feel free to add subtle Western touches (cowboy boots, bolo ties, suede, fringe) while keeping the overall look polished and wedding-appropriate.
