Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Please RSVP by April 5th by using the RSVP card provided in the invitation. We kindly ask that you indicate which meal you would like by initialing next to your choice. Then, just drop the postcard in the mailbox!
What is the attire for the day?
The attire is formal! We ask that men wear suits with ties. Women, feel free to wear a floor length dress, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. We ask that you please adhere to the Pittsburgh Field Club dress code, including no denim and tucked in shirts.
Why did I recieve an invitation so early?
Great question! We decided to send invitations early because our wedding falls on a holiday weekend. We wanted to give you as much notice as possible for your planning purposes and to get your hotels booked!
Will you be providing transportation?
Although there is no transportation from the church to the reception, if you are having too much fun and don't want the party to end, Uber and Lyft are great options to get home at the end of the evening! Please feel free to leave your cars overnight at the Field Club.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are so excited for you to be a part of our special day! Due to the large nature of both families, we are only able to accommodate those who have been listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY?
We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to find a seat before the ceremony starts.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE CHURCH AND RECEPTION VENUE?
Yes! There is plenty of parking available at both sites. There will be valet parking at the Pittsburgh Field Club.
WHAT CAN I DO BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?
During the break between events, feel free to grab a drink or visit some of our favorite places in the area. We have a included a list of places to check out in the "Things to Do" tab!
WILL THE COCKTAIL HOUR AND RECEPTION TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Everything will be indoors, so weather will not be an issue!
WHAT'S A CATHOLIC WEDDING LIKE?
A Catholic wedding mass typically lasts about 1 hour. It consists of prayers, readings, and singing, with periods of standing, sitting, and kneeling. To Catholics, the Church is a sacred place where a couple becomes one in the presence of God.
