We’ve recruited recommendations from our friends in the Richmond area if you’re looking to explore! A special thank you to Jabria, the Schreibers, and the Krolickis for the detailed suggestions. See below for options in downtown Richmond, breweries, and ideas near the Hilton hotel block in Short Pump.

Downtown Richmond

RVA Tuk Tuk

The ultimate way to see all that Richmond has to offer is by booking a Tuk Tuk tour that takes you to every cool place in Richmond basically on a glorified golf cart. It’s ~$40 per person, groups up to six people. It’s about a two hour ride and BYOB.

Website

Hotel Greene

508 E Franklin St, Richmond, VA 23219

If you’re looking for something to do indoors in downtown RVA, check out Hotel Greene! Play putt putt in a vintage, slightly “haunted” hotel setting, with food and silly cocktails available.

The “real faux history” of the hotel claims it was founded by Emil Gorski (Caroline’s mom’s maiden name!) so worth checking out the little video on the website for the story.

The Jefferson Hotel

101 W Franklin St, Richmond, VA 23220

A historical and stunning hotel to check out, with the best espresso martinis according to Becca! Depending on the time of day you may need a reservation, but they often take walk ins at the bar.
