Our story began, shockingly, at a Starbucks. As a senior in high school, Caroline would go to her local Starbucks to study for her SAT's, and quickly noticed a certain barista. Liam also noticed a certain customer who would always be studying during his shifts, and started giving her free drinks. Free drinks eventually led way to conversation, dates, and a young-love relationship.

Caroline went to college the following fall at Cal Poly SLO, and Liam went to Santa Barbara City College. After nearly 8 years apart, the two spontaneously met for drinks in downtown Sacramento. Starting just as it had, with conversation, dates, and a newfound adult relationship, Caroline and Liam found themselves ready to move into the next phase of life together.

While this sounds like the premise to a romcom, we are so thankful that our paths brought us back together. We are so appreciative for the life we have built as partners, and for the incredible people along for our journey.
