Caroline and Luke met through a mutual friend, bridesmaid Nancy, during lunch their freshman year in high school. They ran cross-country together throughout their four years at Paxon School for Advanced Studies. Luke and Caroline remained friends for a few years before they officially started dating their junior year; but we always knew they “liked” one another. It was pretty obvious the way they smiled and laughed when they were together and the way Caroline would react when we’d tease her about it. Caroline and Luke have managed to maintain a solid long distance relationship for four years while she attends University of Florida and he attends University of South Florida. They have balanced their relationship well, while also focusing on their studies and building great friendships in their respective college towns. After the wedding and honeymoon in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Caroline and Luke will be living in Gainesville, Florida. Caroline will begin her second year in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at UF, while working part-time in a pediatric rehabilitation clinic. Luke graduates from USF in May with a degree in engineering and will be working for University of Florida in the field of data science. To say that Caroline and Luke are excited to start their life together as a married couple is an understatement! Both of our families look forward to sharing this special day with all of you!
