About a month after I moved to Nashville in 2021 to continue my Masters degree in behavior analysis, I met Ethan while working in a school. We started out talking occasionally throughout the day. On the first day of summer break, I found Ethan on Facebook, friended him, and then sent him a message. My thought process was that I was going to act like i stumbled upon his facebook profile. If he never answered me then I would have a week until I had to see him again at school and I could act like nothing happened. Ethan saw the message before playing in a soccer game but didn't want to seem too eager. So, after the game he responded!

Our first date was at the Top Golf in Nashville about a week later. Ethan was in his last year of college at Western Kentucky University. The first year we spent together was semi-mid distance with Ethan being about 1hr & 15 minutes (although typically took me 2 hours one-way due to Nashville traffic).

3.5 years later from our first date and we are now engaged to be married!!
