The Story of Us began in January of 2021. Just when Zack thought he had exhausted all of the dating apps, our mutual friend thought that we could be a great match and set us up. Zack wasted no time and sent me a text to plan our first date right away. He planned dinner in NYC followed by drinks at a speakeasy bar called Dear Irving. Our first date turned into a second one, and then a third, and then...a lot more.

Its been the most amazing two years trying just about every restaurant in Manhattan and making the most amazing memories traveling together to places like Aspen, Turks & Caicos, Aruba, Montana and even Zack's return to Nashville.

On July 21, 2023, our most favorite memory was made. Zack booked a reservation at The River Cafe in Dumbo for a "birthday dinner." When we got to the restaurant, Zack suggested that we take a walk through the gardens before going inside. As we strolled through the River Cafe gardens, he got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" It was the best question I've ever been asked, and the easiest answer I've ever given.

We're now living in our first apartment together in Battery Park, Manhattan and are excitedly counting down the days until I Do!
