What should I wear to the wedding?
We are requesting formal attire for the wedding. On the wedding dress code scale, formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie. For men, that means suits. For ladies, knee-length dress, midi dress, flowy maxi dress, or jumpsuit are all great options. Whatever you decide to wear, make sure you can dance in it!
Do I have to stay at one of the hotels suggested?
Several suggested hotels with discounts or blocks are listed on the travel page, but St. Simons has a wealth of lodging options, including hotels and beach rentals. We highly encourage you to explore options on the island and book as soon as you can to avoid increased rates.
Where are you registered?
We are registered at Crate & Barrel, Amazon, and Ella's in Richmond Hill. We also have a honeymoon fund! You can access the Crate & Barrel, Amazon, and honeymoon fund registries on the "Registry" tab.
Why get married on St. Simons Island?
While neither of us call St. Simons "home," we have spent lots of time on the island together throughout our relationship. It's even where Christian proposed! We are excited for you to experience the beauty of St. Simons' beaches, majestic oaks, and Spanish moss.
