Just kidding, we were never enemies. Just friendly rivals for a time, thriving off the other’s jokes and dry sense of humor. And occasionally finding a way to drench the other (water, snow, ice, and more water)… which all began in the photo shown above.


Although our story from afar seems fast and furious, beyond initial observation it has been a sweet and beautiful story the Lord has been writing carefully.


We began as flight instructor and student, growing in friendship over many months. Through long hours and many days spent together, amid so much more, we came to find our differences were complementary, and our similarities had found their match.


Sometimes when the Lord makes a path clear, you just have to take it. This has been the case for us, and it’s been a crazy, wonderful, simple and sweet journey to where we are today. We joyfully look forward to spending the rest of our lives together, loving and serving the Lord and each other as long as we both shall live :)
