We will have recipe cards available to fill out at the reception. If you want to jot down your favorite recipe, but know that you won't remember it by heart, this is your heads up!

The wedding ceremony will be just short of a full Catholic Mass (there will be no Communion), so around 45 minutes. Although food and drinks will not be available until 4:00, you are welcome to head to the reception venue immediately afterwards (here you will encounter the famous Catholic gap, i.e. the time between the just-early-enough-to-be-a-little-awkward ceremony and the cocktail hour). But if you tend to get a little hangry and can't wait until 4:00 before the appetizers come out, we recommend you swing by your hotel!

We are not providing transportation to or from the wedding ceremony at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church. However, there WILL be a bus to and from the hotels and The Sutherland for the reception, departing from the hotels at 3:30 PM and leaving The Sutherland at 9:15 PM.

Semi-formal/formal attire. If you are not familiar with North Carolina in the summer, it does get quite hot, so please keep that in mind!

Yes! There will be an open bar at the wedding reception. We’ve been advised that the Sutherland will card guests who appear younger than 30 years old, so please bring your ID (we know you ALL look younger than 30 😉)

Please RSVP by May 1st, either on this website under the RSVP tab or by sending the RSVP card to the return address listed on the envelope you received.

The parking at The Sutherland is limited, but there is overflow parking at Wake Union Baptist Church located at 13345 Wake Union Church Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587. It is a quick walk to The Sutherland from here!
