A Catholic wedding mass usually is 1 hour and 15 minutes. All are welcome to the mass and we would love for everyone to be in attendance.

Yes! We are happy to serve you a buffet dinner, as well as wine and our favorite Shiner beers!

Unfortunately the hotels in the area are too small to do room blocks, but check our Travel page to see the hotels. There are many hotels in the area and also some fun bed and breakfasts that we encourage you to check out!

We encourage our guests to arrive at the church 15-30 minutes in advance to ensure you leave plenty of time to find the venue and a place to park. It is a rural area, so it can be confusing to find. Please refer to the posted directions if you need guidance in finding our church!

Yes! Please check out our "Things to Do" tab to see some fun activities to do while in town. We would definitely recommend checking out Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner as a fun and exciting activity, plus you can see the place where Caroline and Ross first met!

Because of where Shiner and Hallettsville are located, there are many airports that are all about 2 hours away from the venue! We would recommend flying into Austin or San Antonio. Renting a car will be necessary as it is about 2 hours from any of the airports to the venue.

There is parking available for both St. Mary Catholic Church as well as Wied Hall. However, parking at Wied Hall can become a bit hectic as it is a grass field, but we will have a drop off line available for the ladies who would like to keep their shoes clean.
