Walk the loop. This is a ~2.5 mile exercising pathway around Wrightsville Beach & Harbor Island with beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Go to the beach. Wrightsville Beach is home to over 40 public beach accesses. Grab a chicken salad sandwich from Robert's Grocery or a hot dog from Trolley Stop and hit the beach!

Walk out on the piers. Look out over the Atlantic Ocean on Johnnie Mercer's Pier (where you'll catch people fishing at any hour of the day) or Crystal Pier (parts of Outer Banks were filmed here; grab a bite to eat at The Oceanic after).

Walk along the Cape Fear River boardwalk. Take in the beautiful sites of Downtown Wilmington that are featured in many TV shows and movies (if you look really hard across the river you just might see the rivercourt featured in One Tree Hill!)

For the littles/history buffs. Visit Cape Fear Children's Museum, Airlie Gardens, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, and/or Battleship North Carolina.
