Jake and Caroline first met at a young adult event at church, which naturally led to a late-night Waffle House dinner with some friends. Very soon after, Jake slid into Caroline's Instagram DMs to wish her a happy birthday. That simple message quickly turned into a fun conversation about Jake's Cracker Barrel Instagram account (yes, you read that right!).

That conversation quickly led to a first date to nowhere else but Cracker Barrel on a Monday morning. But thanks to Apple Maps, they ended up at an abandoned warehouse. Thankfully, Maple Street Biscuit Company saved the day—and fun fact, that very Maple Street is just down the road from where they’ll say "I do"!

On November 11, 2022 (make a wish!), they officially became a couple. Since then, they’ve spent the last two years playing Wii Fit, singing karaoke, and spending all of their money at Chick-fil-A, all while making unforgettable memories along the way. Their little family also grew with the addition of their yellow lab, Betty, who’s undoubtedly the star of the show.

On November 23, 2024, Jake popped the question in Piedmont Park, a place that holds so many special memories from their early days together. Now, they’re so excited to celebrate the beginning of their forever with all the people they love most!
