Q + A

What is the itinerary for the wedding day?

5:30 pm - Ceremony Of Marriage 6:00 pm - Cocktail Hour 7:00 pm - Dinner 8:30 pm - Time to Party! Midnight - The Party is over... 12:30 am - Drinks at Sand Bar Saloon...

How will dinner be served?

Dinner will be served "family style"; thus servers will be at each table asking each guest what they would like from larger trays of food. All dietary restrictions & allergies noted in your RSVP will be honored!

What is on the menu?

Appetizers during the Cocktail Hour include BBQ meatballs, caprese bites (vegetarian), Thai spring rolls (vegan) w/ peanut sauce on the side. Dinner will feature a garden salad w/ Italian or Ranch dressing, sirloin tri-tip w/ horseradish sauce, Italian sausage & mostaccioli in marinara sauce, Autumn gnocchi w/ squash, walnuts, sage & parmesan (vegan version available), breaded chicken breast in champagne reduction sauce. Sides include roasted red potatoes, roasted broccoli & carrots, and fresh dinner rolls. Kids will have the choice of chicken tenders, mac & cheese, green beans, and apple sauce. For dessert there will be a berry Chantilly style wedding cake, and Italian cookies!

How should I dress?

We ask that our guests dress in "Cocktail/Semi-Formal" attire, and be comfortable! Our ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be in a barn with the doors open.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of parking on the grounds of the farm! When you arrive our coordinator, and posted signs, will guide you where to park your vehicle.

Will there be a bar?

It wouldn't be a barn burner without one! Our wedding will feature an open bar during the cocktail hour, and entire reception. If you plan on drinking please bring your ID, Michigan is strict and our bartenders will ID anyone who looks young...or OLD! Drinks include a signature wedding cocktail that we created, local craft beer from Waypost Brewery (a mile south of Johnson Farm!), domestic beer, red & white wine, prosecco, vodka, tequila, and Frank's favorite bourbon Buffalo Trace...whiskey river take my mind! Of course there will be plenty of other refreshments like lemonade, sparkling water, soda pop, and coffee! Cash tips for the bartenders is not expected, but would be appreciated by them. CHEERS
