Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony will take place at Our Lady of the Lake University's Sacred Heart Conventual Chapel. The reception will follow at The Westin Riverwalk hotel. We ask all our guests to arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. Please refer to the "Home" tab for more details.
By when should we RSVP?
Please RSVP as soon as possible and no later than August 1st, 2024.
Can I bring a plus one?
With our strict capacity limit we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you for your understanding.
Can I bring my kids?
Our special day will be an adults only event. We ask all our guests to make necessary arrangements in advance for both the church ceremony and reception. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there a dress code?
The dress code is black tie optional. Women may wear long formal dresses and men may wear a suit or tux.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We ask that our guests please respect the guidelines of the chapel and refrain from using their phones or taking photos during the ceremony. We would love to take photos with you following the mass.
What is parking like at the venue?
Sacred Heart Conventual Chapel is conveniently located about 10 minutes away from The Westin Riverwalk hotel. Please park at the front of the chapel as we will have dedicated parking there.
There are several options for parking at the hotel: If you are staying at The Westin, you will most likely already be familiar with them.
1) Valet- $25 (reduced price on wedding day & does not include overnight stays)
2) Pay-for-Parking lot across the street
3) Parking alongside the streets of downtown
4) Parking garages near the hotel and along the Riverwalk (there is one right across the street)
Will there be an open bar?
We will have cocktail hour starting at 5:00pm before the reception followed by four hours of open bar until 9:00pm. After that the bar will be pay by consumption.
