Mackinac is a busy summer destination and accommodations on the island can book up close to a year in advance. We want to encourage all of our guests to explore travel and reserve lodging as early as possible in order to ensure you can join us for our big day. We will be on Mackinac for the full week and welcome all to join for as much as you can. The island is such a joy and we hope you can soak it all in.

There are a lot of great options on the island to stay. Our biggest recommendation here is to call to make your reservations. You will get an answer very quickly if you make the phone call connection.

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Our wedding is Black Tie Optional, we ask that our guests wear a tuxedo, dark suit, long gown, midi dress, or cocktail dress. For footwear, please note that the reception will be on a lawn, stilettos are discouraged.

For our Welcome Drinks, we welcome you to wear Snappy Casual attire. Sundresses, jumpsuits, white pants, elevated summer wear, shirts, polos, dark jeans, and slacks are encouraged. No jackets, ties, or heels necessary.

Mackinac is bright and colorful in August. We encourage our guests to embrace the Mackinac energy and wear something that makes them feel fabulous.

Welcome Drinks are hosted at the Phillips Cottage, which is located on top of a large hill. We ask that you please plan accordingly. You're welcome to walk, bike, or order a taxi.

The Ceremony and Reception are a 10 minute walk from any downtown hotels.

We will only be able to accommodate those who were formally invited. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Unless your invitation was addresses to "Your Name and Guest" or "The X Family" we kindly ask that you only bring yourself.
