Our Wedding

Phil and Carolyn's story dates all the way back to 2011, where a special round of 5 at 5:00 (at Murphy's Irish Pub) solidified years of friendship, and a crush that would last across a decade. Fast forward to New Years of 2021, Phil and Carolyn realized that distance definitely can make the heart grow fonder, especially when those two people spend most of their free time together. And alas, a decade crush became the greatest love, and the rest is history!

Phil and Carolyn have enjoyed traveling to different places all over the United States! Their favorite thing to do is find new places to adventure, to get outdoors, and to see all that this wonderful world has to offer, together!

We have been so thankful to have been a part of so many of our family and friends' weddings over the years (mostly cause it gives Carolyn an excuse to make Phil take a nice photo with her!)

Hotels: Below is the options of hotels in the area. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Carolyn or Phil, we are happy to help! We recognize hotels are booking fast due to a huge conference in Milwaukee that weekend, so we highly recommend everyone getting their hotels soon! It was suggested to also try through hotels.com as they may have rooms set aside to book. We are so thrilled to have our friends and family (the people we love most) join us in the city where it all began! Milwaukee holds a very special place in both Phil and Carolyn's heart. It is where they met, it is where they formed lasting friendships, and it is the home of their favorite bar, Murphy's! We recognize that many of our friends and family will be traveling from all over the US/Globe, and we want to help you in finding a space to rest your head and get yourselves party ready for our wedding day! Carolyn added, below, some hotels that are in close distance to the venue, but there may also be some wonderful AirBNB or Vrbo options if that is your preference. Do you need to rent a car? It is totally up to your preference, as the hotels are a bit of a distance from the closest airport (Milwaukee Mitchell Airport or MKE). That being said, there are plenty of Ubers, Lyfts, or (if you are old school) yellow cabs in the area! Airports: Milwaukee Mitchell is by far the closest to airport, but it is also possible to fly into O'hare or Midway in Chicago. It is about a two hour drive from O'Hare and Midway to Milwaukee.
