Our Wedding

Patience. Faith. Timing… &amp; Food. Our story is one that unfolded over many years and finally took root just when the time was right. We first met&nbsp;years ago while in college at UNC Wilmington. Walker worked in maintenance at&nbsp;Landfall Country Club, while Carrie worked at the course snack shack. We got to know each other over a chicken salad sandwich outside the clubhouse, but after college went our separate ways. Over the years, Walker reached out to Carrie several times through social media to keep in touch. But we had never reconnected in person until one fateful Saturday last August, when we decided to meet for a hike at Morrow Mountain State Park. Afterward, we went to Badin Lake Drive-In theater and talked through two movies. Twelve hours and one large pizza later, we knew this was the beginning of something incredibly special. We have been inseparable ever since. We spend our evenings staying active, laughing together, planting seeds in the garden, doing yoga, designing our home, and getting kisses from our sweet animals Penny, Charlie, and Sunnie. We enjoy traveling for Ella's cheer competitions, going to the beach and eating lots of home cooked meals. It’s a good life. We are grateful for so much: That we finally found each other, for our families who raised us to love each other exactly how we need to be loved, and for the faith we've had along the way. Thank you to each of you who has supported us along our journeys. We can't wait to see what comes next.
