Our Wedding

On October 9th, 2021, the Lord blessed me (Carrington) with the man that would one day become my husband. As my mother and I were in Auburn one night after a football game, we just happened to run into a few Georgia fans. Little did I know that Mason had seen us earlier, and knew the way to introduce himself to me was through my mother! Imagine my surprise when a stranger from another state confidently asks for my phone number to take me on a date, and my own mom is standing beside him smiling and encouraging me to say yes! The next thing I know, Mason is driving to Auburn pretty much every weekend over the next several months to meet my friends and family, and to take me on the dates he promised from that very first night. Over three years later, after always being in separate states and time zones, Mason is still the absolute man of my dreams! I praise God for how He works miracles into the moments of life we least expect. We can’t wait to be surrounded by friends and loved ones as we celebrate the next exciting chapter of our lives!

Cason is one of Mason’s best childhood friends. They grew up playing baseball together, and the Barnett family has continually treated Mason and Carrington  as part of their own family. We couldn’t imagine a different person to be our Best Man!

Jacob is Mason’s brother-in-law and closest friend. He is always reliable and truly is a brother to Mason, he is also the father of Haven Bursby, one of our flower girls.

Dalton is another one of Mason’s childhood best friends! Dalton and Mason played baseball together in high school, and also work together for the movie industry!

Johnson is Carrington’s brother, and Mason’s future brother-in-law! Over the years of Carrington and Mason dating and being together, Johnson and Mason have become close friends and now get to be family.

Railey is Carrington’s best friend and college roommate. They cheered together in high school, graduated from Athens High School, lived together in Auburn, and both graduated from there as well!

Abby is a dear friend of Carrington’s from Auburn. Both graduated in the same major and spent many nights studying together! They also interned together in Rosemary Beach, FL one summer.

Chelsea and Carrington are childhood best friends who have gone through every season of life together! Growing up in each other’s houses, getting baptized together, both going to Auburn University, and sharing an engagement season have been some of the happiest times in their lives.

Rachel and Carrington have been very close friends since 5th grade! A steady friendship that will always last, Rachel holds a very special place in the bride’s heart. From cheering together in high school and meeting for coffee dates all during their time at Auburn, Rach and Carrington are still lifelong friends!

Bailey is Mason’s sister, and the mother of Haven Bursby, one of the flower girls. Carrington and Bailey are very close and have become like sisters over the past few years!
