If you had asked either of us 10 years ago when we were graduating high school if we thought we would ever be marrying each other the answer from the both of us would've been H*LL NO!
When Corey and Carson met they're both sure it was on one hot day during middle school. Corey was a Navy brat who had just moved to town and Carson was a former private school student finding her way in public school. Corey could be found wearing colored skinny jeans and Osiris skater shoes, while Carson wore collared shirts and a specific pair of green, white, and blue knee-length plaid shorts that Corey remembers vividly.
In high school Carson and Corey shared a world history class and that's where their hate for each other first blossomed. They both had choice words to describe one another back then, but we'll just skip that part..
After high school, Corey went off to work and Carson went to college. During the peak of COVID many places were closed and that included Carson and Corey's jobs. One place that wasn't closed? The local outside bar, The Shack. That is where Carson and Corey reconnected after 5 years of not seeing each other post high school graduation. (We won't include them both swiping no to each other on a dating app weeks before). After a few nights out with mutual friends, they hit it off and went on their first date for Carson's birthday. They have been inseparable ever since, even with 2-week work rotations, living hundreds of miles apart, and through many life changes; they have found solace and love in one other.
Now residing in Alabama with their their dog-child Nola; they enjoy sitting on the porch together, grilling out, watching football and drinking bourbon.
They cannot wait to share their love with y'all.
