In the small town of Hiawatha, two kids grew up going to the same grade school, middle school, and high school. Though their paths often crossed, it wasn't until high school that their friendship truly blossomed. They started talking—and they never stopped.

After high school, they entered their next stages of life, always side by side. Carson followed Emma to college and they both began working towards their individual careers.

The mountains have always held a special place in Emma's heart, as she grew up backpacking with her Dad and three older brothers. When Carson entered the picture, he quickly became part of those adventures. On their most recent trip, one they both will never forget, Carson got down on one knee and proposed.

And now, they couldn't think of a more perfect place to say "I do" than the mountains. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they're excited to begin this new chapter of their story, filled with love, adventure, and many more stages to come.
