IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING VENUE (RESTROOMS, POLICIES, ETC):

RESTROOM/ENTERING HOME STORE: We kindly request that guests only enter the home store if you need to use the restroom or seek shelter from inclement weather. Providence Home + Garden staff will be on hand to assist with any questions and to provide reminders about this policy. If you need to use the restroom, look for the simple black and white signs guiding you through the home store. POLICIES: Providence, along with Jackson and Carson, kindly requests that no alcohol or outside drinks be brought onto the property. We also ask that smoking of any kind be avoided while on Providence’s premises. Please note that the wedding ceremony will be brief, lasting approximately 10-15 minutes. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Are guests allowed to take photos/videos at our wedding ceremony?

We kindly ask that you keep your phones off or away during our ceremony to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy and participate in the moment. This will also help our photographer get the best pictures possible. Our ceremony will be very quick! We encourage you to wait until our reception to use your phone for pictures. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and helps us make our special day even more memorable.

What is the dress code for our wedding ceremony?

We want you to feel relaxed and enjoy the celebration, so come as you are, but please look nice! We will have a photographer taking pictures during the ceremony and group photos after. This will be a great time to capture photos with very important people in our lives that we will cherish for years to come, so we kindly ask you to dress in a way that feels both comfortable and presentable!

Are there any colors or styles we prefer guests to wear?

While there is no specific color or style preference, we do ask you to please avoid wearing white, and cream/tan. This helps to ensure the focus stays on the newlyweds, and makes for beautiful group photos! We hope that your choice of attire is something you feel great in (:

What is the wedding day itinerary for guests? (Ceremony)

If you arrive to the venue more than 15-20 minutes early, we ask kindly ask you to wait in your car or on the patio. The home store at the venue will be closing 30 minutes before the ceremony, and we need to allow time for shoppers to exit and for our setup team to prepare the space. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated! We anticipate a quick ceremony in order to allow time for family pictures and to give guests plenty of time to make their way to our reception. If you have any questions regarding specific timing, please reach out! Our photographer is scheduled for a specific time slot, so we won’t be able to chat with guests immediately after the ceremony. We’re looking forward to catching up with you at the reception! Thank you for understanding!

What is the weather like in the area? (Includes plan for rain)

While weather in Indiana is always unpredictable, we do expect it to be quite warm! However both our ceremony and reception should be very shaded. There are plenty of trees at both locations to provide shade and hopefully a breeze! As our wedding will be held outdoors, we may encounter rain. We plan to continue with the ceremony even in inclement weather, unless conditions become unsafe. There will be space for guests to seek shelter near the building, and watching from your car is also an option if you prefer. Please come prepared for the weather, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we celebrate together, rain or shine!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

While we are not having children at our wedding ceremony, they are warmly welcomed to the reception! We will have plenty of fun activities/goodies to entertain them!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

For our private ceremony, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones. However, you are more than welcome to bring a plus-one to the reception! We appreciate your understanding - please reach out with any questions.

Where is the reception and is parking available onsite?

The address for the recpetion can be found on your invitations or on the homepage of this website! Reception Parking: For the reception, which will be held at our home, parking may be a bit tricky due to limited space. We are in close communication with our neighbors to ensure that parking is as smooth and convenient as possible for all. To help with this, we suggest carpooling if possible. We will notify you of neighbors who may not want our guests parking in front of their home, and we ask that you do not block any driveways. We will be sure to provide more updates as our day approaches! If you have any questions or concerns about parking, please let us know so we can be as helpful as possible! 765-242-2525 We plan to have a detailed parking plan to guests by 9/8!

What is the wedding day itinerary for guests? (Reception)

Our reception is planned to start at 6:30 PM. We will have wonderful helpers at our home to ensure everything is ready for your arrival, so please plan to arrive on time or anytime between 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM. To respect our neighbors, we kindly ask that goodbyes are said by 10:00 PM. We look forward to celebrating with you!

What is the dress code for our reception?

Come as you are! We want you to feel comfortable at our home. While there will be some pictures taken, we won’t have our wedding photographer at the reception, so feel free to dress casually. For those coming from the ceremony, you’ll have plenty of time to go home and change or bring a change of clothes if you wish!

Will there be food and drinks at the reception?

We’ll be serving pulled pork with a variety of sides, along with some appetizers and dessert. To complement the meal, there will be at least one keg of beer, along with additional beer options, water, and a selection of soft drinks. If you have a preferred drink you'd like to enjoy, feel free to bring it along!
