Our story began when we met through a mutual friend the summer before our freshman year of high school. We didn't actually go to the same school, so we both kept up with one another on social media and through frequent FaceTime calls. We eventually started going to church youth group together and started becoming really good friends. Through that, we developed feelings for one another. Toward the end of our freshman year of high school, we confessed our feelings toward one another and began our journey together. We started our relationship out slow, where we simply spent time with each other and got to know one another. Towards the end of 2019, Carson asked Christina's parents' permission to date her, and Carson asked Christina to be his girlfriend with a letter and a promise ring.

We went through all of high school together and experienced many milestones and life events with each other, from choir concerts, to proms, anniversaries, and graduation. We both reached the end of our high school career and were accepted into Texas A&M University together.

On November 22, 2023, a fateful day changed the course of our relationship forever. Carson surprised Christina with a private river gondola ride, fully decorated with flowers, in Dallas. She had no idea what was going to take place. During the ride, he spotted a corked glass bottle in the water, which had a love letter in it. Carson then got down on one knee and asked Christina to marry him.

We give God all of the glory for this love story He has written. He has blessed us beyond what we could have ever imagined. We are truly so excited for this next chapter of life with Him and one another.
