Anna is my little sister and one of my best friends! She has taught me to live on the wild side, take a risk, and always say yes to an adventure! A few things you need to know about Anna are that she drives a 1998 Jeep Wrangler, sleeps at strange hours, and runs marathons without training! I am so thankful to have her as my little sis!!

Ashley and I met in first grade and have been best friends ever since! A few things you should know about Ashley are that she is one of the funniest people I know, she is always down to pull a prank, and she is headed to medical school next year! I have so many memories with her, but some of the best memories were during the time that we were swim captains together our senior year of high school!

Candice and I met our freshman year at SMU because we lived in the same commons (LOYD)! Candice and I share love for so many things that start with the letter 'C' including chocolate, CorePower, and cookies! My favorite memory with Candice is spending the summer of 2018 traveling abroad together in Paris and Rome.

Tate and I met online (haha!) and matched 100% on the roommate portal! Thank goodness for that matching website because we ended up being roommates for three years of college!! A few things to note about Tate are that she is so thoughtful, always down for a random adventure (ex. camping), and loves to eat pickles as much as I do!

Maggie and I have only known each other for about 1.5 years, but OH am I so grateful for her in my life as my sister-in-law! A few things to know about Maggie are that she loves her dogs with all her heart, she is a fitness instructor, and she is an amazing cook! I am so thankful to have Maggie as a sister and a bridesmaid in my own wedding.

AKA Lizzy M (iykyk)! Elizabeth and I met my sophomore year at SMU through the Wesley House ministry. She quickly became a best friend, my 'little' in Delta Gamma, and now a roommate! A few things you need to know about Elizabeth is that she gives the best advice and loves others deeply, she is my personal stylist, and we share love for TCBY or a blue bell moo bar!

Abby and I became close friends during high school. A few things to know about Abby are that she is genuine, loving, and wise. She loves music and a good dance party! My favorite memory with Abby was serving alongside her at Camp Barnabas in the summer of 2016!

AKA Anna Mug or A-Mug. Anna and I met at SMU orientation our freshman year. A few things you need to know about her are that she extremely driven, an incredible encourager, and the best doubles partner and running buddy! We both love just about anything that has rainbow sprinkles!

Katherine and I met through our church family many years ago. After babysitting her family for many years, Katherine and I have always stayed close like sisters! A couple things to know about Katherine are that she is a bold leader and athletically talented. You won't find her without wearing a Texas A&M clothing item!

Anna and I go way back... we grew up together in church, and quickly became best friends in fifth grade. About a year later, she and her family moved to Nashville, but that did not stop our friendship! A few things to know about Anna are that she is hardworking and generous, she may have a slight obsession with the royal family, and she will travel hundreds of miles to be there for you. My favorite memory with Anna was our ~educational~ mother-daughter trip to Chattanooga, TN!

Landry and I became close friends during high school and served on Highland Park Student Council together! Some things to know about Landry are that she is the life of the party and a friend to everyone she meets. My favorite memories with Landry are all the adventures and moments during our time at Summit Ministries in Colorado!

Alexandra is my soon-to-be sister-in-law and that makes me so excited!! EEP! Alexandra is so joyful and lights up a room with her smile! A few things you need to know about Alexandra is that she LOVES chocolate and probably could have dessert for every meal, for the last 20 years she has had her birthday dinner at a Hibachi restaurant, and she is an amazing snow-skier and most fun person to ride with on a chair lift!

Ryan and I met in the Wesley House college ministry way back in the first week of our freshman year. A few things you need to know about Ryan are that he is incredibly driven, probably likes Excel more than I do, and is always open to a new hobby like biking! My favorite memories with Ryan are the many Wesley retreats we have gone on together.

When Chase walks into a room everyone notices. His genuine energy, kindness, and fun spirit are extremely contagious. From serving on leadership in BYX to our trip to Annapolis for the SMU vs. Navy game, he has been a strong friend every step of the way!

When I met Chris back when he was interviewing for the Hunt Scholarship at SMU I knew there was something special about him. From serving as the Student Trustee on the SMU Board of Trustees to every other leadership position he has held, he has made his mark on the SMU campus. I am just happy to call him my little in BYX and more than that, a great friend!

Out of everyone on this list, Aaron and I go the furthest back (all the way to the Art Table!). However, during most of my relationship with Ali, Aaron has been away at college or sailing around the world. Despite the distance, Aaron has been an incredible person to look up to and I am excited to call him my brother-in-law!

Christian might be the most thoughtful person I know. I have learned so much from him and have enjoyed calling him a friend. However, he might also be the most forgetful person I know. My favorite memory of Christian was when we went to Galveston for our BYX Away Weekend and he left his suit back in Dallas. We scrambled and found him the best suit in Galveston at Goodwill for $20!

Corbin has wisdom beyond his years. I am incredibly lucky to call Corbin my little in BYX and to have so many amazing memories with him. He is always open for adventure or a trip to Bass Pro Shop. One of my favorite memories with Corbin was in the fall of 2019 when we took a weekend trip to Yosemite and climbed the Half Dome!

Matt and I got to know each other through BYX and he followed me as 2020 President in one of the most difficult years to lead a fraternity. I can't think of a better person to have lead through this time and know he left BYX and SMU better than he found them. Matt is the most down to earth, intellectual person I know. While I studied numbers and finance he studied psychology and read many books and I am grateful to have had him as a roommate in the BYX house, even though it was cut short by Covid.

Though the youngest person on this list, I am very grateful to be able to call Ryan a friend and have so many incredible memories with him. Ryan is my grand-little in BYX and has left incredible marks on BYX, SMU, and the Dallas area through his many worship lead roles and incredible talent. Ryan was also on the fall break trip to Yosemite with me and Corbin and was there to enjoy the incredible view that we earned from the 15 mile hike up the Half Dome.

If there are only 11 groomsmen standing beside me at the wedding it is likely because Matt is still getting ready and will join when he is ready ("No hurry, no worry" is his life motto)! He did however promise to be on time. Matt has been an incredible friend from the very beginning of college and many of the adventures I have been on he has been right beside me. From Taos to our most recent two week tour of the Pacific Northwest, Matt is always up for a challenge and new adventure!

Jackson is single handedly keeping Cole Haan, Robert Talbot, and Peter Millar in business and wins the award for best dressed. He is a a go-getter who I look up to for his work ethic, commitment to his church (he sings in the Park Cities Baptist Choir!), and the way he cares about each of his friends. One of my favorite memories with Jackson is when we went to Canton for the First Monday Flee Market to find some deals to furnish the BYX house and came back with a new, overpriced credenza, some pictures of ducks, and a couple framed flowers (Worth the trip? Probably not, but it is a fun memory).

I have officially lost track of how many places Lucas and I have traveled together. Freshman year, Lucas walked past me and another person discussing our grand plan to travel Europe for the summer and on a whim Lucas agreed to join. We spent two months backpacking, eating, and exploring our way from Austria to Norway and everything in between. He is an amazing friend and one who would drop anything to help you. I am very grateful to have him beside me at my wedding.

Where do I even begin with Sumner? He has been by my side every step of the way through college. From Wesley, to pledging and leading BYX, to camping trips and skiing trips, he has been an incredible friend through it all. He can tell you everything there is to know about any car ever made and played a key role in getting my Jeep up and running. I am grateful for all of our many memories and couldn't get married without Sumner by my side.
