Grab a coffee and pastry from Heritage House Coffee one morning, before it gets too warm, and take a walk on the Tuscaloosa River Walk! Bring a book or a friend and it'll make for a slow, peaceful morning!

Oder take out/dessert from Taco Mama, Moe's BBQ, Ajian Sushi, or Steel City Pops and bring it down to the Park at Manderson Landing, right along the Black Warrior River, and have a picnic with your friends and family!

Walk around the beautiful and historic University of Alabama Campus. Have a picnic, read, or run around on the Quad by Denny Chimes. The trees and flowers will be in full bloom and will make for a great afternoon!

Take a tour of Bryant Denny Stadium and see where we cheer on the Tide on Saturdays! After stopping at Rama Jama's and ordering a milkshake, explore the Walk of Champions commemorating Bama's SEC National Championship coaches and their teams! Roll Tide!

Explore some of Tuscaloosa's historic properties like the Battle-Friedman House, Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion, the historic Murphy-Collins House and Museum, and more!

If you're coming from Birmingham, stop and see the Birmingham Civil Rights District (this was the staging ground for Dr. King and many other civil rights leaders), or play a round at Topgolf before heading into Tuscaloosa!

For those staying at Hotel Capstone, you will be just a few feet away from Saint Francis University Parish! Take a look inside our Saban Catholic Student Center, funded by the Saban family, where Chace and I have spent a lot of time during our relationship. Or stop and enjoy prayer time in our new Perpetual Adoration Chapel where you can encounter Jesus in the Eucharist at any time of day!
