Carter and I went to school together at Heartland Baptist Bible College. We were both freshman and we had several classes together, but we never met while attending school. His family moved back to Carthage after having lived in Oklahoma for one year and they started visiting our church in June of 2023 and I fell pretty fast. His family joined in August of 2023 and I just wanted to be best friends. Slowly but surely him and I did become best friends. He told me he was praying about us and that he wanted to be wise and he asked me how I felt about it all. I told him I was going to marry him. We started dating shortly after that and June 1st of this year we got engaged! We’re so happy and can’t wait to start our future together!
