Maysville, Kentucky is a historic river town filled with lots to do. It's the birthplace of Rosemary Clooney (White Christmas) and home to The Old Pogue Distillery. Below are some things to do around town:

Places to Eat

Pasquales - a fan favorite - affordably priced Italian food and the famous "Big Cookie."

Desha's - A unique dining experience with steaks, seafood, pasta, and regional favorites not found anywhere else.

M's Eatery - one of the best places in town to eat - the serving sizes are huge and you'll have enough for leftovers after partying all night

Parc Cafe - The food, the drinks, the atmosphere.... Carter spent way too much time here during high school and Covid doing homework

Kenton Stories with Spirits - great place to see local artwork and literature while sipping a glass of bourbon

Babz's Bistro - A food truck located near St. Patrick -- The food is always amazing and unique to Babz's Bistro. It is the perfect Maysville experience with the Simon Kenton Bridge in the foreground.

Activities Around Maysville

Kentucky Gateway Museum Center - The museum illuminates the past through award-winning dioramas, more than 4,000 regional artifacts and a gallery of fine art related to Maysville and Kentucky. The Kathleen Savage Browning Miniatures Collection looks at the world from a new perspective through mesmerizing, 1/12-scale reproductions of homes, furnishings, clothing, artwork and people. The Old Pogue Experience housed in the historical Limestone Building adjacent to the Museum Center presents the history of bourbon and the Old Pogue distillery.

The Old Pogue Distillery - You cannot come to Maysville and not go to see where Old Pogue is made. There, you will learn about the fascinating history and the process of how the bourbon is made. At the end, you can even get a tasting of the different bourbons!

Cummins Nature Reserve - Get a morning hike in on Saturday morning at Cummins Nature Reserve.

Take a walk along the river and see the floodwall murals - These murals show the history of Maysville.
