Carter and Megan always knew of each other throughout college but didn't end up crossing paths until they both graduated and started on their careers. Shortly after Megan's graduation, Carter reached out in hopes of Megan joining him on a fishing charter. However, Megan declined due to prior obligations. Later, Megan accepted Carter's dinner invite, it was tacos and margs... how could the answer be no?!) Although Carter tried to cancel the date hours before due to previous cancellations from Megan, he eventually came around. The date occurred at Su Casa in Menomonee Falls and both will admit it was the start of something so special. Megan went home later that night, slightly tipsy on margs, telling her parents that she had just met her husband.
