Seth and I first crossed paths in 2009, when we were put in the same third grade class. At the time, we barely noticed each other (though I secretly had a little crush on him). Our brothers played baseball together one summer, and someone asked why we didn’t talk. I shrugged and said, “I don’t really know him.”

A few years later, God brought us together in a way that felt perfectly timed. During the same semester, we both had classes at the local technical school. I couldn’t drive yet and didn’t want to ride the bus, so when Seth posted on social media about carpooling, I asked if I could ride with him instead. It felt like God had a plan for us all along—even arranging my assigned parking spot to be right next his. What started as a simple favor turned into long conversations, plenty of laughs, and the kind of friendship that quietly became something more.

We started dating in 2018, and almost eight years later, we’re excited to celebrate our next chapter together—grateful for God’s timing, all we’ve experienced together, and that we get to continue this journey as life partners and best friends!
