First Text! - This was the first message that Audrey ever sent Carter. They spent a lot of time together before they were dating working on Calc 3, and this is a Calc 3 method that Audrey was teaching Carter.

Taping Music! - After texting each other all of Christmas Break, Carter helped Audrey with her orchestra librarian duties by taping hundreds of pages of music. They stayed up wayyyy too late into the night working on the music, but at the end of the week Carter asked Audrey to be his girlfriend! They started dating on January 13th.

First Date! - It took over 2 weeks, but Carter and Audrey finally did their official "first date". They made homemade baked mac and cheese.

Hockey! - Carter and Audrey spent a lot of time hanging out with friends at hockey games. It's always fun to have a cheering buddy! This is a picture from one of the later games in the season.

Long Distance! - Carter got an internship that took him to Wisconsin and Ohio for the summer (he got hired before him and Audrey were dating, oops). Audrey was also up in Houghton for the summer, so this summer would be long distance! Lots of video calls were had.

Studying! - Most of Carter and Audrey's time spent together during the school year was spent studying for their various classes. Sometimes they were more productive than others, but they always were there to support each other however they could.

Summer in Midland! - For their second summer together, Carter and Audrey were both in Midland! Carter got an internship with a company there, so he stayed with Audrey and her family for the summer. This is a picture from planting flowers for the Midland Blooms festival.

Engaged! - Carter and Audrey went to DOW Gardens to take a walk and Carter asked Audrey to marry him on a skywalk in the trees. They cannot wait to keep making memories together!
