In late July 2013, Cary and Doug were introduced by Cary's then-roommate and Doug's former colleague Billie Edington. For our first date, Doug invited Cary to dinner at Tamarind in downtown Manhattan. She didn't know this was a test of compatibility--was she adventurous enough for Indian food? Nearly two years later, the answer is yes. And Cary said yes again in April 2015, following a very unconventional courtship that saw the marriage of a sister, the birth of a niece, and New Year's Eve in Las Vegas (with Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, no less).

From the start, we knew we would get married on Long Island's East End. Thank you to all our loved ones for making the trip to help us celebrate our union in our favorite place on earth.
