Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is the closest airport to the hotel and the venue.

We've hired a fancy VERY NICE(!) executive bus service to shuttle people to and from the venue (departing the hotel PROMPTLY at 4:00 PM, departing the venue to return to the hotel at about 10:15 PM). Note that this is NOT your old orange schoolbus, with hard seats, rattly windows, Eddie Lindemeyer shooting spit-wads at you and no air conditioning (see "Travel" tab for a PHOTO and DESCRIPTION of the bus). This transportation is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. No one needs any trouble...

Again, note that the VERY NICE charter bus will leave the hotel for the venue PROMPTLY at 4:00 PM. You can leave your car (or truck, if you're a Texan) overnight at the venue, ride the bus back to the hotel, and we'll figure out how to get you reunited with your vehicle on Sunday... Just let us know!

Except for the wedding party that is stuck wearing something that Caryn picked out, please just wear nice clothes: cocktail wear, formal, semi-formal, black tie, and even smart casual are all fine. Note: For those who currently live in Texas (or identify as "Texans"), cowboy boots may be required. Sam and Elizabeth may wear Astros jerseys. Maybe Chris Supan...

We hired two rather expensive professional photographers and videographers to capture our ceremony, plus a drone (!), so please keep your cameras/phones/iPads tucked away. But during the reception, feel free to Instagram the $#!+ out of the newlyweds.

Except for the wedding party, and parents/siblings of the bride and groom, there is no assigned seating. Please sit with the people who will make the event the most fun for you! (Please try not to make it like "The Hunger Games." Thank you.)

We're having a buffet dinner, so you should be able to pick and choose according to your preferences. However, please reach out to Caryn or Joe ahead of time with any special dietary concerns.
