Our Wedding

Casey and Christopher first met in August of 2011 during Band Camp at the very start of their freshman year of high school. What began as a friendship quickly grew into something more, and by October 20th of that year, they officially became a couple. Neither of them could have imagined at the time that a casual meeting at the start of high school would mark the beginning of a lifelong and loving relationship. Over the years, their relationship grew through shared experiences that shaped who they are: long bus rides home from band competitions, late-night phone calls, high school dances, Junior ROTC balls, a trip to California, junior formal, and senior prom. As they navigated the highs and lows of growing up, they learned how to support each other, laugh together, and stay grounded through it all. Their love continued to deepen well beyond high school. After nearly 12 years together, on May 10th, 2023, exactly halfway between their October anniversary, Christopher proposed to Casey in the beautiful Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It was a quiet and meaningful moment that reflected everything their relationship had come to be: patient, steady, and full of care. Now, after nearly a decade and a half of memories, growth, and unconditional support, Casey and Christopher will be getting married on October 25th, 2026, five days after their 15-year anniversary. This wedding is not only a celebration of their love, but also of the people and moments that helped shape their story along the way. They are incredibly grateful to have you here as they begin this next chapter, and are so excited to share this special day, and everything it represents, with all of you.

We are having a fun Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings inspired fantasy wedding. Our Main Wedding Colors are Dark Green and Black, with Accent Colors Of: Silver, Burgundy, Royal Blue, and Marigold.

Amber is Casey’s younger, but much taller sister. No matter how much we like to bust each other, I could not have picked anyone else to stand by me.

Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings fantasy inspired wedding aside, here are a few fun ice breaker questions to better get to know us! Do You Have Any Tattoos? Casey: Yes, 4. A Harry Potter one on my left shoulder, a Disney one on my right shoulder, a campfire/palm tree matching tattoo with Amber on my left ankle, and the Avatar Moon Spirit koi fish on my left forearm matching with Chris. ‎ Chris: Yes and I have 3. I have two tattoos on my left forearm. One being the Brand of Sacrifice from the Berserk Manga Series and a small string of morse code on my wrist. The morse code reads S.T.A.Y, from the movie Interstellar. The other is on my right forearm and is the matching Ocean Spirit Koi Fish Tattoo from Avatar the Last Airbender.
