Picture this: Tahoe Valley Campground, 2021. Casey's running the show at the front desk, while Alex is the handyman keeping everything in check. Fate had other plans for them though.

One sunny day, Alex asked Casey to hop on his motorcycle with some campground pals. Off they went, hitting up all the local spots—Bridgetender Tavern, Virginia City, and Red’s Old 395 Grill. And just like that, sparks flew on the back of a bike.

They couldn’t get enough of each other after that. Hiking, fishing, ATVing—you name it, they did it together. And then came Nova, the four-legged firecracker who stole their hearts.

Their adventures only got wilder. From Napa Valley wine tastings to exploring the redwoods on a trip to Fort Bragg, they were unstoppable. They even flew to Hawaii and swam with sea turtles. Oh, and let’s not forget Teak, the fluffball of a kitten they couldn’t resist adopting on a road trip to Clovis.

After a year together and the spring was blooming, Casey had a tough decision—go back to Massachusetts or stay in Tahoe. But Alex wasn’t about to let her go alone. They packed up and hit the road, trailer and all, with a few bumps along the way (literally, the trailer needed new brakes in Carson City).

Alex settled in Maine, and Casey in Massachusetts, but weekends apart were tough. So Alex moved in with Casey, and later, after heading to Tahoe for a final winter with his dad, he made the big move to Massachusetts for good.

After getting to know Casey's big family and adjusting to city life, Alex knew he wanted to spend forever with her. So, during a stunning Tahoe sunset on Earth Day, he popped the question. And of course, she said yes!

Not long after, Casey and Alex found their happily-ever-after home in Maine, where they started their next big adventure together.
