Our story began in 2015 when fate brought us together at an American international school in the city of Mandalay, Myanmar. As colleagues, we quickly discovered our shared passions and embarked on an incredible journey together.

One of our earliest connections was through coaching the middle and high school girls' basketball teams, where we fueled each other's competitive spirits and celebrated the triumphs of our players. Beyond the court, we formed a deep bond through countless adventures and shared experiences. Whether it was conquering early morning hikes, belting out tunes at KTV with outrageous wigs, embracing nightly ROMWOD sessions, exploring the city on our motorbikes, or spending lazy Sundays by the pool at Red Canal, we found joy in the simplest moments.

Amidst the chaos of our vibrant lives in Myanmar, we discovered solace in each other's company, even when faced with the dreaded cockroaches that invaded our apartments. When our paths diverged, with Casey returning to her hometown of Chicago and Megan embarking on a new professional endeavor in Guangzhou, China, we refused to let distance weaken our friendship.

Despite the miles that separated us, we remained dedicated to our connection, visiting each other regularly in both Canada and the United States. After three years of Casey working in Chicago, a realization took hold—she longed to return to a life of teaching and traveling internationally. With unwavering determination, she accepted a job at Megan's school in Guangzhou, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.

As the world faced the challenges of a global pandemic, our reunion was delayed. Finally, in December 2020, Casey and Megan were joyfully reunited. It was a reunion that solidified our love and strengthened our commitment to one another.

In November of the following year, amidst the serenity of our shared happiness, Megan seized the perfect moment to propose, sealing our fate with an eternal promise. From that day forward, we have been crafting our happily ever after, cherishing each moment as we continue to build a life filled with love, adventure, and unbreakable companionship.
