Despite spending three years together in college, Dan and Casey didn’t get together until summer of 2015, and then finally started dating on January 2, 2016, when Daniel got the courage to make her his gal.

Whether it was the invisible string theory, or because Dan grew his beard and hair out, and got beefy for football, something made Casey notice him. Weekends were spent driving back and forth to see each other at college, in their hometowns, or finding a middle meeting ground just to have a weekday dinner after work.

Eventually, weekend bags turned into moving boxes, and they purchased a home together in March 2021 in NJ! Just two short weeks after moving in, they got a furry friend, Cooper, before even buying any furniture.

Once Daniel realized Casey could cook, he decided to pop the question. He took her to an early dinner at the Riegelsville Inn, the restaurant they went to after the open house of their first home together. He then proceeded to nervously check his phone at dinner, stall ordering his meal, and drink scotch to calm the nerves. Finally, on the walk back across the Riegelsville Bridge, Daniel suggested a picture, where he proceeded to get down on one knee to ask Casey to marry him. She said yes! And the wedding planning began!

Daniel and Casey have had many memories together over the last 8 years and cannot wait to start a new chapter together as husband and wife!
