Our Wedding

Our story doesn’t start with a single moment — it starts with years of simply being in each other’s world. We grew up in the same community, walked the same halls, and were always just a few steps away from each other. From elementary school through Ross High School, we were the kind of friends who were always around, familiar in that comforting, effortless way. It wasn’t until high school that something shifted. Cody was the guy with the basketball bag; Casey was the cheerleader who somehow always found her way into the same hallway at the right time. What used to be accidental run-ins slowly became intentional moments. Those early days of dating were everything we hope young love is for everyone — full of excitement, laughter, and a feeling that we’d found something rare. College took us to two campuses — Miami and UC — and yet our lives remained beautifully intertwined. We built a rhythm between the two schools, growing individually, growing together, and always returning to each other at the end of every day and weekend. On a perfect November night, Cody proposed — and the celebration that followed felt like a moment frozen in time. Surrounded by family, friends, and the first snowfall of the season drifting softly around us, we stepped into our next chapter with full hearts. A couple months later, we bought a 1930s fixer-upper full of character and possibilities. Since then, we’ve poured love into every corner, filling it with the warmth of people we adore, the scent of shared meals, and the joyful chaos that comes with turning a house into a home. These days, you’ll catch us grabbing drinks in Hamilton with friends, snuggled up in our freshly renovated space, or cheering at whichever game we’ve decided is the most important one of the week. No matter where we are, being together is still the best part of every day. We are endlessly thankful to celebrate with you on June 12th. When you fall in love at sixteen, you have so much life ahead — and getting to grow up side by side has been the greatest gift. We can’t wait to honor every version of “us” that led to this moment, and every chapter still waiting to unfold in our marriage.

My cousin, my bestest friend, and the one who shares my soul. She’s been by my side since day one — literally — and there’s a kind of love between us that only comes from growing up together. As cousins, we’ve done everything together: vacations, holidays, and countless days spent at our grandparents’ house. We’ve grown up side by side through every season of life, and I truly can’t imagine mine without her. At the very first wedding we ever went to as little girls, we made a pinky promise that we’d be each other’s maid of honor one day — and now here we are, living it out. From watching every wedding movie together to now celebrating the real thing, having Brooke by my side is the most special full-circle moment.

Brooklyn Robbins

My big sister and the one who’s guided my path since day one. She’s seven years older than me, so there was never a time when I didn’t look up to her—especially when she had me lie to our parents about mattress surfing down the stairs in the house we both grew up in! I’ve been so honored to fill her shoes and be her little sister ever since. I stood beside her as her maid of honor on her wedding day, and now I can’t imagine anyone else modeling marriage for me as my matron of honor. She’s always been my biggest cheerleader, the one who celebrates me with her whole heart, and the person I’ve looked up to more than anyone. I love her endlessly and feel so lucky to have her by my side for one of the most special moments of my life.

Courtney Senger

When I was five years old, Tessa walked into my dance studio, and I asked her to be my best friend—and from that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. We grew up together through every dance practice, competition weekend, school day, and cheer season, and even went to the same college. She’s been part of every chapter of my life, including the start of my love story with Cody—my very first kiss with him was in her driveway, a place that holds so many memories of us growing up. Tessa has always been my confidant, my constant, and my chosen family. She was even the one who zipped me into my wedding dress for the first time—such a special, full-circle moment in our lifelong friendship. There’s truly no version of this day without her by my side.

Tessa Gordley

My best friend brought to me personally by Miami University who has brought a light and happiness into my life I didn’t even know I was missing. From the moment we met in class, I couldn’t have imagined how much she’d come to mean to me. What began as shared notes and study sessions quickly turned into a friendship that feels like family. Abigail has the kindest heart and most genuine soul, making everyone around her feel seen and loved. From sushi dates to teaching dreams and countless heart-to-hearts, she’s been my steady cheerleader and one of life’s greatest gifts. Having her by my side on this day means the world to me.

Abigail Rossiter

My cousin, my lifelong partner-in-crime, and truly my heart. All my favorite childhood memories have her in them—especially the countless hours we spent in her basement playing “teacher,” which (unknowingly at the time) inspired my own career. Even as adults, she’s still the person I’m always looking for in a room, especially during our Mays family trips where spending a whole week together feels like pure joy. Isabella embodies everything I love about our family—loyalty, laughter, and endless love—and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.

Isabella Mays 

Jayde is my childhood best friend from Ross — the one who’s been part of nearly every chapter of my life. We shared classrooms, countless sleepovers, and cheer seasons together (even as co-captains!), and at one point, we practically lived at each other’s parents’ houses. There isn’t a single memory from my school years that Jayde didn’t have a hand in. Our families became each other’s, and everyone knew that where you found one of us, the other was sure to be close behind. We grew up side by side, sharing the highs, the chaos, and everything in between, and I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. I’m so grateful to have her standing by my side on my wedding day — representing such a special part of my life — and I can’t wait to do the same for her just a few months later.

Jayde Lawless 

Paige is one of the most loyal, protective, and consistent friends I have — the kind of friend who shows up every single time, no matter what. She’s someone I can deeply trust and confide in, and she has this rare mix of strength and warmth that makes everyone around her feel both grounded and understood. She also happens to have some of the best stories — the kind that make you laugh until you cry — and she tells them with a spark that’s entirely her own. I’ve always called her my “cool 80s rock friend,” because that’s truly the best way to describe her: effortlessly cool, bold, and unapologetically herself. Her loyal heart runs deep for those she loves, and I’m endlessly grateful to have her by my side through life and as I step into this next chapter of marriage.

Paige Shroder

The girl who can make me laugh nonstop, gives the best beauty tips, and now happens to be our neighbor in Highland Park. We were best friends long before we became neighbors, and now we’re living the dream—getting to share life just down the street from each other. We take evening walks, sip wine, and spend our early 20s restoring our historic homes, planning weddings, and laughing endlessly with our fiancés. Our friendship is so easy—pure, joyful, and everything you need in a life full of chaos. I feel endlessly grateful that Cody and I have her and Max as our constants through it all. Less than a month before our wedding, we'll be toasting to her marriage in HHI and then she'll be passing the bridal bouquet to me! 

Alivia Hoover 

Madi is Cody’s sister, but funnily enough, she was actually my history and Chinese partner in high school long before Cody and I ever started dating. Since she’s just a year younger than me, we shared several classes and worked on plenty of projects together — and I still remember how nervous I was for her to find out I was dating her brother! Madi is hilarious, hardworking in her career, and someone Cody and I both absolutely adore (even if he’d never admit it to her!). I give her a lot of credit for Cody being such a great guy — after all, she had to deal with him long before I did. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on such an important day, not just as my sister-in-law, but as a true friend.

Madi Geers

Riley is my other sister-in-law, and I’ve had the joy of watching her grow up right before my eyes. When Cody and I first started dating, she was in 3rd grade and would spend Friday nights stealing my pom poms to cheer beside me. One of the very first times I went to their parents’ house was actually for her 9th birthday party! I still remember saying, “Riley will be 16 when we get married,” and it always felt so far away — yet here we are. That sweet little 9-year-old has grown into a beautiful, funny, and confident teenager who is so much fun to be around. Her jokes with Cody always make me laugh, and we both love watching her play soccer at the same school we once went to. Riley is truly the little sister I never had, and I’ll always hold her close to my heart. She’s grown into such a wonderful young woman, and Cody and I couldn’t be prouder of her.

Riley Geers

Trevor and I met playing sports in elementary school and have been best friends ever since. From day one, we bonded over our love of sports and haven’t stopped giving each other a hard time since. We’ve shared a lot of great memories over the years, but one of my favorites was our trip to Vegas celebrating his wedding — an unforgettable time with one of my favorite people. Having Trevor as my best man was never a question; he’s been like a brother to me for as long as I can remember.

Trevor House

Ben and I met back in elementary school, and over the years, he and his family have become like family to me. Our parents are best friends, and we’ve made countless memories together — from vacations to Saturday night beers in the garage. Some of my favorite memories are from when we were kids, playing mini hoop basketball in the entryway of his parents’ house. It’s also the same house where Casey and I hung out for the very first time, which makes it even more special. To top it off, Ben’s grandpa was the best man in Casey’s grandparents’ wedding — making it all feel like a true full-circle moment. 

Ben Yeager 

Tyler’s my cousin, but we’ve always been more like brothers. We’ve grown up together, gotten into plenty of trouble, and shared a lot of laughs along the way. One of my favorite memories was the Thanksgiving we went to Walmart to grab a propane tank so we could deep fry the turkey — only to come back with an empty one. Our dads were definitely not proud of that one, but it’s a story that still cracks us up every year. Having Tyler up there with me just feels right — we’ve been a team since day one.


Tyler Baarendse

Isaiah’s one of my best friends — we met toward the end of elementary school and have been tight ever since. We played sports together growing up and basketball together in high school, which built a friendship that’s stuck through everything. Some of my favorite memories are just hanging out, playing cornhole, and watching ball. He’s one of those friends who’s always up for a good time and someone I can always count on. I’m pumped to have him standing by my side on the big day.

Isaiah Brink 

Paul’s one of my best friends — we met back in elementary school and have been having a good time ever since. We played sports together growing up and have made a ton of great memories over the years. Some of the best times have been hanging out in his backyard bar, The Pondtina, where there’s never a dull moment. He’s the kind of guy who’s crazy enough to get a retired fire truck just for fun and always knows how to keep things interesting. Couldn’t imagine the day without him up there with me.

Paul Schroeder

Nick’s one of my best friends — we’ve known each other since childhood, played sports together growing up, and eventually ended up as college roommates. Some of my favorite memories are from our dorm in Calhoun, just hanging out, watching ball, and playing video games for hours. He’s been there through so many stages of life, and I couldn’t imagine getting married without him standing by my side.

Nick Arno 

Alex, better known as Bake, is Casey’s cousin and, more importantly, part of my family too. Casey and her cousins are incredibly close, and I feel so grateful to get to step into that and be part of it. Some of my favorite memories with him are from the Mays family vacations — staying up way too late, drinking beer, and blasting music long into the night. He’s always been fun, easygoing, and someone I can count on to make any moment a good one. Having him up there with me on the big day feels just right.

Alex Baker 

Tyler, or T-Mays, is Casey’s cousin and shares the same protectiveness and love for her that I do. Some of my favorite memories with him are from family events, like when he makes a drink that’s way too strong and the memories get a little fuzzy. One of the best has to be in Nashville when he bought $100 worth of food from a Mexican food truck for the whole family — and we ate every last bite. Casey and her cousins are incredibly close, and I’m so grateful to get to be part of that bond. Having Tyler standing by my side on the big day means a lot — he’s family through and through.

Tyler Mays 

Jake is my soon-to-be brother-in-law and the man who’s going to marry me to Casey. He’s married to Casey’s sister, and now we also work together, which means we talk daily — whether it’s about work, the girls, or just walking over to each other’s houses for dinner. One of my favorite memories with him has to be a Reds game in Chicago at Wrigley Field, where we ate, drank, and bonded over our shared love for baseball. Having Jake officiate our wedding feels completely perfect — he’s seen our relationship grow over the years and serves as the perfect middle ground, representing both of us as we take this next step together.

Jake Senger 

Cooper and I have been friends since elementary school, growing up side by side and playing just about every sport we could together. Some of my favorite memories are from the years we spent living in the same neighborhood—running around all day, staying out until dark, and playing endless games of basketball in his driveway. He’s been a constant in my life from childhood to now, and I’m grateful to have him standing by my side on this day.

Cooper Shields

Casey’s first cousin and truly the closest thing she has to a brother, which made him feel like family to me right away. Adam and I instantly clicked over our shared love for sports, Chicago, and the importance of family. Some of my favorite memories with Adam include a vacation stop at Bahama Bob’s where Adam may have bought me one (or two) too many drinks, and unforgettable days in Chicago—starting at Wrigley Field and ending with bar-hopping through the city streets. With my bachelor trip headed to Chicago, there’s no one better to show me the city done right. I am grateful to have Adam standing by my side on such an important day.
